Terms & conditions

Terms applying to rentals and experiences offered by Riviera Xperience Sea. The signed contract for each outing prevails in case of conflict.

Purpose

These terms cover boat rental (with or without skipper) and sea experiences offered by RIVIERA XPERIENCE SEA (SAS), 629 Avenue de la Mer, 06210 Mandelieu-la-Napoule.

Any booking implies acceptance of these terms and of the details set out in the quote or rental contract.

Booking & confirmation

Requests are made via WhatsApp, email or Instagram. A quote or proposal is sent subject to boat and skipper availability.

A booking is firm only after written confirmation from Riviera Xperience Sea and, where applicable, receipt of the requested deposit.

Rates & payment

Prices shown on the site are indicative (including VAT when stated as such) and may vary with season, duration, options and type of service.

The final amount, any deposit and payment terms are confirmed at booking.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms (deadlines, refund, rescheduling) are set out when the booking is confirmed.

If weather makes the outing unsafe or impossible, a reschedule or alternative is offered where possible.

Rental with skipper

When a skipper is included, they are master of the vessel and sole decision-maker for safety and navigation.

Guests agree to follow their instructions on board.

Bareboat rental

Our vessel is not a commercial passenger ship (NUC). A rental without skipper is a bareboat charter: the client becomes master of the vessel and assumes responsibility.

The contract will clearly state “bareboat rental”. If an external skipper is hired, a separate service agreement must be made with that skipper.

Liability & insurance

The client agrees to use the boat reasonably and to report any incident without delay.

Liabilities relating to navigation, passengers and damage are set out in the rental contract. A deposit may be required depending on the service.

Riviera Xperience Sea holds insurance related to its activity; cover details for each outing are stated in the contract.

Included / not included

Each boat or experience page lists what is included (fuel, pick-up, soft drinks, etc.) and any options.

Unless otherwise stated, drinks other than soft drinks, extra activities and personal expenses remain payable by the client.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
